Chatham, ON – Entegrus has announced that Jim Hogan, President and Chief Executive Officer, will retire in February 2026, following more than two decades of dedicated service to the organization and the communities it serves.
Jim joined Entegrus in 2001 as Chief Financial and Regulatory Officer and was appointed President and CEO in 2009. Jim guided the organization through a period of transformational change, marked not only by a series of mergers and acquisitions involving four local utilities in Southwestern Ontario, but also by rapid shifts within the energy sector itself. Working closely with the Board and the leadership team at Entegrus, Jim helped position the company to meet the evolving challenges of the Ontario electricity sector, including the significant transformation underway with electrification.
Jim guided the organization with consistency and foresight, always keeping the impact on customers at the forefront of his decisions and maintaining a long-term view of value and service.
“Jim’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Entegrus into the organization it is today,” said Max Fantuz, Chair of the Entegrus Inc. Board of Directors. “His steady guidance, high standards, and deep commitment to the people and communities we serve have helped foster a strong culture of safety, operational excellence, and public trust.”
Throughout his tenure, Jim placed a strong emphasis on community involvement, both through organizational support and personal involvement. Under his leadership, Entegrus strengthened its relationships with local organizations and consistently supported charitable initiatives across its service territory. Jim not only championed these efforts as CEO, but also actively participated in many of them, demonstrating his personal commitment to giving back and supporting those in need.
A formal announcement regarding the appointment of a new President and CEO will be made at a later time.
Entegrus and the Board of Directors congratulates Jim Hogan on his upcoming retirement and expresses sincere appreciation for his leadership and many years of service.
