Arrears Payment Agreement

If you have an overdue electricity balance and are concerned about service disconnection, an Arrears Payment Agreement may be right for you.

This agreement allows eligible customers to make regular payments toward their electrical arrears over a set period, while continuing to pay current bills. It helps you stay connected while working toward financial stability.

How an Arrears Payment Agreement Works:

Contact Us if you’re behind on your regular monthly bill. We’ll review your situation and discuss options.

  • Assessment: We'll look at the amount you owe and whether you qualify for other assistance.
  • Down Payment: A small initial down payment will be required to enter into the agreement.
  • Payment Plan: The remaining electrical arrears will be divided over 5 to 10 months to assist with manageable monthly payments that are required in addition to your regular monthly payment.
  • Stay on Track: Making payments on time helps you avoid removal from the program.
