A planned power outage is scheduled for a portion of Blenheim on Sunday, August 23rd, from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Crews will be repairing electrical equipment damaged during July’s storms and replacing additional equipment.
Approximately 1156 customers will be without power for the duration of the planned outage, from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. These customers are shown in orange on the map below.
An additional 837 customers will experience a brief interruption of approximately ten minutes at the beginning of the planned outage. These customers are shown in yellow on the map below. The brief interruption is required to safely complete switching before repair work begins.
The alternate date for this work is Sunday, August 30th, during the same time window.
Customers whose service will be interrupted have been notified directly by telephone or SMS. If you did not receive a telephone call or SMS notification from Entegrus, your service is not expected to be interrupted.
