Entegrus and its employees take pride in giving back to the communities we serve. One of the community initiatives near and dear to employees at Entegrus is the Chatham-Kent Safety Village. The goal of the Safety Village is to reduce the number of child deaths in Chatham-Kent for children most at risk, by continuing to promote safety for the prevention of injury. We at Entegrus, appreciate the inherent dangers of electricity, and will consistently promote and encourage its safe use and practices through a campaign of public awareness, beginning at any age.
The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village is a non-profit organization that has been teaching injury prevention to local primary school children since 2006. Entegrus, along with other safety professionals, has partnered with the Safety Village to provide state of the art safety programs and informational presentations to youth in grades 4. All programs presented are set as per the Ontario School Curriculum guidelines. Students attend the safety village, free of charge, during the school year with their teachers and classes.
Entegrus employees strive to provide a safe, secure “hands on” interactive learning environment of safety training for local kids at risk through the a "Tell Me, Show Me & Involve Me" approach to learning.
